My theistic interlocutors invariably ask, “what’s the evidence we expect to see for God?” The question itself is fraught with peril because it asks that I define the theist’s position.

Yes, you are an atheist… you reject the theist’s position… all the theists’ positions… how can you do that if you don’t know their position or can’t explain them? This is why the atheist’s claim is always the stronger claim.

You are asserting all theists are essentially wrong while at the same time saying you don’t know their position.
