I’m always confused by the amount of vitriol that exist, to the point I don’t read the news or go onto social media anymore (except for Facebook — my friends only posts updates about their adorable kids and cute pets).
It took me a long time to realise — for I’m always the slow one — that instead of spending time and effort in hating something, I should spend these two precious currencies on something more productive. If I can solve it, solve it; if I can’t solve it, look for alternatives and move on. Because

And it doesn’t matter whether it is a big or small, important or unimportant, personal or political events. Does the hate actually solve anything? If anything else, I learn hate actually fossilised the problem.
