Change is in the air, change is near

When you have always been this way, it can seem almost impossible to imagine that things could be any different.

But change is right at the end of your limited perceptions of what you think you can and cannot do. It is at outside of the walls of the collection of internal narratives that you use to justify why it won’t work and therefore not even worth even trying.

It is not a case of forcing yourself to simply forget about the mistakes, errors and sins of the past because that in itself is a challenging feat that may not happen suddenly, instead you immerse yourself in the promises of tomorrow.

Accept that time is not within your control and wishing you could go back and relive or amend what has already been will keep you stuck, bitter and regretful.

Use the past for what it is meant for, a reference point of the locations that caused the ship to wreck, so you know it’s best steered elsewhere so you can make it safely back to dry land.

Cry if you need to, cry to move on. Save the energy you have left to fill up the tank of possibilities.

Change is in the air, change is near.
