I love hearing names from other languages/cultures, I feel disappointed every time I find a Gurbir as a Gery, a Nguyen as a Winn — as much as I respect the choices of individuals.

Homogenisation is for milk and entropy, I’d rather see people keep greater flavour in all things.

Says me, constantly considering changing my own name to one I “made up”.
