I had a similar experience with Frontier. We requested service from frontier. After making an appointment for installation, they never came. I called and was told that they had decided it was a self-install. They sent the modem, but since there was no jack installed, there was no where to plug it in. Frontier never made it to the house to do the installation. I then cancelled the whole deal. Unfortunately, they have been billing me ever since. I called in every month, and was promised it was corrected. They now handed my over for collection , and it has also been reported to the credit bureaus. I refuse to pay $57 for service I never received.
