This is a fabulous write up, thank you for putting in the time and effort to break down the redesign and build.

I was wondering though in your selection of CMSes you stated that “Wordpress was out for security issues alone — enough said.” I have found that to be anything but the case as long as the core WP code is kept up to date and plugins are thoroughly reviewed. I guess I’m just wondering if this came from the Museum’s previous experiences with WP or from somewhere else.
