We don’t all strive to be the “Elite 8”

I don’t think I agree with a lot of what’s in this post. It’s very geared towards the “make it big” mindset of creating a new business as some kind of heroic leap into the darkness. But it doesn’t need to be this kind of ridiculously over-the-top all-or-nothing venture this post — or I think most people linked to the “start-up culture” — seem to be looking at it. It can be good and nice and fun, and even relatively easy. Especially if we limit our expectations and work on realistic human-size goals.
