The Failed Human

The story of our struggle.

Perhaps all societal history, can be reduced to the profound nature of class struggle. Although many smaller, micro sub-classes can be derived through economic observance, at the end of the line, all fall into one of two categories.

Those being, the oppressor, or the oppressed. Where, ideas, values, and principle, of any group other than the oppressor, are all subdued if it interferes with the status quo in which we operate. How do we operate? Well, as Ryszard Kapuscinski said.

“Money changes all iron rules into rubber bands.”

In other words, we’ve grown to live our lives, not by principle, but by capital, by mere paper. This is our nature, which isn’t money driven necessarily- but is always propelled by our tenancy to do what feels “good” over valuing humanist principle. This has been seen in humans both historically, and in scientific studies.

We have primitive, animalistic instinct within ourselves. This can all be summed up as ego, because the fuel line of ego is desire. All petty, primitive human behavior roots in desire. This is evident, because we wouldn’t act in such a manner if we didn’t find some sense of glory or reward within such actions. When we act in this way, people are trampled, so the trampler may have what they wish.

This is why, in my opinion, why humans are the filthiest animal on the planet. Hyenas, bears, lions and wolves all actively fight, kill, and consume one another, along with other creatures. Not to mentioned the methods they choose to stay hygienic, are often repulsive.

So why would I opine such a statement — to say we’re the filthiest? Well, it’s because animals don’t know any better. They lack the possession of a heightened consciousness, intelligence, etc. Ergo, they are incapable of forming any moral boundaries in which they could live. Humans on the other hand, do possess these character traits. We have the ability to control our desires, but actively choose not to.

Immanuel Kant, believed that one is not free when choosing to abide by their desires, even though that’s the common perception of freedom. He called that notion “the idea of freedom”. He rather saw freedom in a different light, that being, that we’re only free when we can restrain ourselves from desire.

He believes this, because when you’re acting upon your wants, you’re really just letting yourself be legislated by your animalistic instinct forced on you from birth. So he sees freedom, true liberation, as the process of choosing your own moral principle, while it’s separate from one’s impulsive wishes.

Meaning, your morals aren’t allowed to be driven from desire, but only one’s pure reason. He points this out, because man has consistently proven their incapability to do this. We’d rather throw fellow man, the animals of this planet, and the planet in and of itself off a cliff edge, just so we can be pleasured. We purposely choose not to act in a sophisticated way, because we don’t enjoy civilized behavior.

Immanuel Kant wasn’t the first to see this, Leviticus and Deuteronomy were the biblical sets of law, designed to restrain the Hebrew nation from their primitive nature. Many philosophers have written on this as well, and modern science confirms that man prefers impulsive behavior over reason.

Although every man uses their greed to fuel the abuse of one another, it’s really unethical power that enables it. The largest source, and most common source of this power, is money.

Michel Foucault, a 20th century French philosopher discussed the role of power in chattel slavery, gender discrimination and much more. All this power however, all of this money, comes from the most deadly class of people. This class are the oppressors, they’re, the bourgeoisie. Everyone else, are proletariat, or the laboring class.

Now the proletarian, or working class do indeed abuse power when they have it, because they don’t have a reputation of upholding their principles either, no man does. Although this may be the case, it’s only when large sums of power land in the hands of the few, to where the few can influence the entirely of society to a greater degree than the majority.

Every time this happens in history, revolution eventually breaks out. From the French revolution, to the Russian revolution, all begun due to this phenomenon. All of it, can be traced back historically, all the way up until modern day, to a caste system.

Every society has one to some degree, currently, the system is based on money, expensive university, and one’s occupation. None of which are guaranteed to uphold sentimental value in fellow man.

This new system evolved from ones of the past, such as the medieval feudal style of Europe. The reason for this change in structure, is because the means to one class thriving is always at the cost of another, so one group must be rendered with less power.

Instead of wealth circulating from this ruling class to their laborers, they often just accumulate more wealth instead. The same corporations own vast chains of industry, so when one works at one industry, then spends the capital accumulated from their labor on another industry, it will just end up back in the corporate’s pockets. So the rich get richer, and the poor continue to be poor.

The leading politicians of our modern state, are just speakers on behalf of the management for bourgeoisie's’ common affairs. This is an issue, because the ruling class is strictly obsessed with self advancement, as are all other humans. It’s just that they have the power to do it far more efficiently, rendering them dangerous.

They’re calloused in their ability to see the expense of their goals. Historically, this was all hidden through religious illusion, in modern times, it’s now covered with political lies.

Their actions have rendered each and every skilled worker into its waged laborer, tearing away it’s sentimental veil, replacing it with money. No one can resist easily, because the system we live in requires us to comply with it, otherwise we face starvation. This is because the majority of land where labor is executed, are owned by corporations, and the proletariat owns little of this manufacturing and economic power.

If this wasn’t the case, then small businesses wouldn’t be forced to close their doors due to being out-competed by big industry that can out-price any small store. The truth is, that the free market has been manipulated in a way, to where the bourgeoisie can squeeze every last drop of wealth out of it, at the people’s cost.

But just as hope seems lost, there’s a beacon in the darkness, for they forged their own weapon while doing all of this. This bane of theirs, is the proletarian, the working man. Without us, they can’t accomplish even a minuscule task. If we decide their money doesn’t influence us, then they’ve lost all of their influence. While the ruling class developed their vast sums of wealth, the work force developed as well.

If we can create the political will to unionize, to as a whole decide that we will not compromise on a certain set of values, then the bourgeoisie will have no other choice but to fold, and give into demands. This can only happen however, through the creation of political will. To build this, a variety of interconnected steps must be taken.

These steps will be given, and publicly demonstrated through the Hammercircuit publication in the near future. If you wan to see how it all turns out, make sure to follow this blog!
