Peanut Butter Banana Sushi
Peanut butter banana sushi is a great way to get your kids to eat a healthy snack after school. The recipe we’ve linked below uses peanut butter and rice cereal but feel free to mix it up! Try other nut butters like almond or cashew. You could also roll the coated bananas in granola or different cereals to keep this snack interesting and fresh throughout the school year.

Frozen Blueberry Bites
Frozen blueberry bites are a reliable hit with even the pickiest of eaters. This easy and fun snack seems like an ice cream treat, but kiddos are actually getting nutrient-packed blueberries and yogurt. These freeze within an hour but will also keep well in an airtight container in the freezer if you want to prep ahead of time.

Veggie Rainbow
We all know how important it is that your children get their veggies everyday. We also know how hard it can be to get your children to eat those vegetables! Unleash your inner artist to make vegetables as appealing and fun as possible. We love the veggie rainbow below, but there are countless options for arranging vegetables in an enjoyable way. Fruit Pizzas
Fruit pizzas are a fun, easy-to-make snack that can be easily adjusted to fit all the picky eaters in your household. This is also a great snack to get your children helping out in the kitchen. Pre-cut your fruit and let your kids top their pizzas themselves. You can also swap the crispbreads for graham crackers to turn this snack into a healthy dessert option.

Fruit and Veggie Skewers
This idea takes up a little bit more prep time than the rest, but it could also be a fun Sunday afternoon activity. Make it ahead of time and store in the fridge for the week (lemon juice will prevent the fruit from browning). If you read our back-to-school kitchen prep advice, these would be a great addition to the snack drawer in the fridge. We linked to the firecracker fruit kebabs shown below however the possibilities for this one are truly endless!
Helpful hint: Plastic skewers are safer and also reusable!
