Markus Persson & Minecraft

Markus Persson is the creator of the popular video game “Minecraft” and cofounder of the gaming company Mojang. Recently on the websites of both Forbes and the Wall Street Journal there have been articles about how Mojang (the company that Persson is a cofounder of) is in talks about selling the company to Microsoft. According to both articles mentioned above Mojang would be selling “to Microsoft for $2billion”. Also, according to the article from Forbes “Stockholm-based Mojang and Persson did not respond to requests for comment” about the potential selling that could be finalized in the near future.
