How to Keep Your Kitchen Clean
If you are tired of walking into your kitchen with dishes piled up and grease stains on the stove it’s time you learned how to keep your kitchen clean. Besides the bathrooms, in your house, your kitchen is the most important to keep clean. A dirty kitchen is a breeding ground for bacteria and can cause your house to stink. It can also invite insects and be very depressing. For starters, you need to develop a routine and let it become a habit. Don’t let things pile up and never go to bed before cleaning up at least the dishes.

If you have never laid a finger at your mom’s house then it will take you some time to learn and get used to cleaning your own kitchen. Make a routine for yourself, something that you can get used to because the kitchen needs continuous maintenance. First, you can begin by trying not to make such a mess when preparing food. You can greatly reduce your work in the kitchen just by not being so messy. One example is when you crack an egg, immediately throw the shells away instead of leaving them to drip and dry up on the counter. If you spill a few drops of milk or juice wipe it off right away.
Develop the habit of cleaning all utensils as soon as you finish with them. When I use my blender to blend tomatoes, I simply take it apart and it cleans very easily in less than a minute. If I leave it till later or even till tomorrow it will be harder to clean. It will take some effort to scrub and also take too much time. Something like this will create little flies and cause a bad odor in the kitchen.
Keeping a kitchen clean can be a lot of work but it is up to you to make things simple for yourself. It can be very overwhelming if you wait until the end of the day before you decide to clean up. It would be best to clean thoroughly after every meal.
All you need for cleaning the kitchen is dish soap, bleach, a very good sponge, and some good towels. A disinfectant like Clorox bleach can be your best friend in the kitchen. It will get rid of odor-causing bacteria in an instant.
It’s never too late to learn how to clean a kitchen and it’s never too late for you to get used to keeping it clean at all times. I myself hate to spend too much time in the kitchen. I like to get out as soon as possible and cleaning up right after every meal works best for me. I can’t fall asleep at night if I know there are dishes in the sink that will greet me in the morning. I like to start a new day with a fresh kitchen.
