After reading your article I guess I agree with you. Ego is the reason, but this reason vastly oversimplifies the complexities that are involved. I would phrase it a little bit different and say that, “Tebow is too big for football”! He’s an icon. He’s too good, too perfect. He inspires too much loyalty from Christians as well as many others, for many reasons. What coach wants a player who is bigger than him and the whole team?
