My New Journey

For some time now, I have struggled at life. Don’t get me wrong, I have a pretty decent life over all…But I am far from where I want to be and I have not handled life well.

Whether it is money or relationships, I would handle things less then effectively…The main thing getting in my way was mindset. I was indecisive, always trying to please others, withdrawing from the world whenever I got stressed.

It usually took outside forces to cause me to take any real action on things. Something would happen and I would react to it. And usually I would act out of fear, lack, or anger.

As you can imagine, this led to some stressful situations. It brought me to the verge of divorce, caused me to file bankruptcy, and to lose some people I called friend.

It’s true not everything was my fault, but I had a hand in creating my reality, as do you….

This realization, that we do have control over ourselves and how we handle life, has led me on a journey to improve myself and create the world I desire. As part of this quest I have started to explore many “self help” books, ancient philosophies, religions, and even joined the Freemasons looking for more light.

Each of these things, along with much meditation, inner work, and soul searching, has led me to develop my own life philosophy and 7 guiding principles.

Using these principles as a guide, I am taking on a series of “quests” to improve each area of my life….It is my belief that I can reach my goals and create the life I want through these “quests”.

I first learned about using the power of quests to improve your life from several books… “The hero with a thousand faces” by Joseph Campbell and “Level up your life” by Steve Kamb.

I was immediately enthralled by this idea. I knew it was exactly what I needed to kick start my change.

Since that time, It seems like I keep hearing about the “hero’s journey” and how people are using the concept to dramatically improve their lives….

I have started to experience the power of quests and the 7 guiding principles I have adopted….it’s amazing how my life has started to change in a short time!

Which brings us to Quest Life 7….I see how so many people are struggling in their own lives and know that the 7 principles and quests can make a difference in your life as well.

So I have created QuestLife7.com and a podcast to go along with it…It’s my intention to share with you my personal journey and the lessons I continue to learn. I don’t want to just survive life…I want to attack it and create the life I want. And I want to help you do the same!!

So I invite you to join me in this journey and create an epic life!

More to come…
