How to life #beingproductive #101

Hi, I’m doing something productive right now and if you do what I say, obey my every order, by the end of the week you’ll be like (see gif ^):

I used to slack off everyday browsing for design inspiration for hours and not designing anything at all, looking at quotes and watching youtube videos on “how to not procrastinate”. So I stumbled upon a website called Evernote and this is basically what I did. You can modify it if it doesn’t fully work for you, but it should, just saying.

Evernote is a website/app that allows you to write, sort and sync notes across multiple devices.

Step by step:

1. Create an Evernote account
2. Create a notebook titled “Journal”, “Being productive”, “My lazy days”, whatever works for you.
3. Everyday, create a note ex.“Tuesday 16.05.2030”
4. Insert a checklist with your top 5 daily goals
5. Bellow the checklist start writing what you actually did
6. And bellow that write “time log:” and write what you do every hour. It keeps you more aware of time passing by and stops you from slacking.

Why does this work ?

Because when you start writing, you not only use your creative side, but you feel good when you put those little checks in front of the list items.

One last thing:

Do not, I repeat do not fall into the trap of thinking that you are actually doing something, when you are scrolling online. It’s not the same as running or whatever you should be doing. You can have an hour of scroll time max, that’s all you are allowed (period).

It’s that simple. Thanks for reading.
