I agree, taxes and not debt. Yes, we need higher taxes on the state level. I pay more to the Federal Government than I do to my State, sales taxes, property taxes, income taxes, licences and fee’s, everything included. That is out of balance in my mind. I would tolerate a State Tax increase to get the rebalancing started but there should be a proportional reduction in the Federal Spending and ending deficits. The States can take care of their own consistent with the Constitution.

I wonder if people would flock to a State that passed legislation to publicly fund Health Care for State Residents with some sort of waiting period for new Residents relocating from outside the State. Why haven’t the Blue States already done this? I wonder how this would effect providers?
