I don’t see how the Democrats can stop the nomination anyway. They can energize their base a bit maybe so the grand standing will continue as long as possible.

I wonder how many Moderate Republicans held their nose and voted for Trump just because they knew that the balance of power in the nations courts hung on the outcome of the 2016 elections. The message was out there, “we have to win, the control of SCOTUS hangs in the balance.” I know that in the Republican filter bubbles that message got a lot of play. Was that message sent to Democrats?

Is the incompetence of Democrats justification for keeping them out of power. They could not prevent the Republican from Gerrymandering the States. They could not keep the National Committee’s manipulation of the Nomination secret. Their idea of an Affordable Care Act is anything but affordable. After two terms with a Democrat for president we were still in Iraq and Afghanistan and we got involved in Libya, Yemen, and Syria.

Is there any reason to believe that Democrats (Hillary) would not be making a worse mess than Trump. Roe v Wade, I know it matters but certainly much more important things need to be addressed by the courts, like U.S. v Citizens United. You can win the abortion debate on a State by State basis but Campaign Finance Reform is now only going to happen if Congress acts.

We can fight Carbon Pollution on a State by State and City by City and even one citizen at a time but not if the message is drowned out by “Russia Collusion” and “Roe v. Wade.”

How about ending the “War on Drugs,” and starting Police and Prison Reform.

Exactly what part of the Democrat base is energized by these hearings on Kavanaugh? The base must consist of more than Feminists!

If the Democrat party was competent I might consider registering Democrat but I am still waiting.
