I know the author of the original story was trying to be genuine but being twice privileged but considering one of those privileges a disadvantage makes her mildly hypocritical. I don’t know it that is what you were trying to point out.
While there is anti-Semitism in the U.S. it is not as much a disadvantage as being Jewish is an advantage.
Jewish households rank as the richest in the country when incomes are compared for religious groups.
Medium Household income for Jews in the U.S. is $72,000
Medium Household income in the U.S. is $42,000
Medium Household income for Catholics in the U.S. is $47,000
Life expectancy at birth for Jews in the U.S. is 2 to 5 years longer than any other religious group including atheists.
Being born a Jew in the U.S. is an advantage and that is probably the root of anti-Semitism. Hate born out of jealousy.
Being doubly privileged it would be hard to deny the privilege, imagine being a Jewish, White, Ivy League Educated, Able, CIS, Hetro, Male. With all the privilege if you aren’t a millionaire by 40 you must be a total failure.
