If I was young I would be making a robust and resilient adaptable plan for survival. Many in my generation are preppers to a greater or lesser degree. Not that I was sure some catastrophe was imminent but why not be prepared. Some of my preparations were very fun. I learned to make wine, brew beer, make bread, grow vegetables, preserve vegetables, etc. etc. etc. We live in Hurricane country so we have bug out bags and camping gear. We also have a generator, food storage and water storage.
