My wife got Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. This created an encephalitis, bleeding in her brain. She also had a high fever, delusions followed by hallucinations and coma. She recovered but the first day home from the hospital I found her standing in front of the sink crying, she had a glass in here hand but she said she did not know how to turn on the water.

She recovered most of her mental abilities but she was never as sharp as before the fever. Brain damage can manifest itself in many ways. I guess sometimes it could be positive.

Can you believe it we used to drink water straight from the tap.
