We are not trying to escape Capitalism we are trying to use Capitalism to escape poverty and build a better society.
Do piece work or hourly work to afford a higher education. Parley that education into a salary. Use that Salary to accumulate and leverage some Capital. Use that Capital to put others to work and generate value. Use that value to promote the welfare of your progeny so they can skip step one of doing piece work or hourly work and go directly to get an higher education.
If you don’t fritter away the rewards of your labor on excesses and indulgences you can achieve. Achieve, achieve whatever. It does require some effort and possibly sacrifice. If it did not would it be meaningful? Does anyone ever treasure that which comes easily. Easy come, easy go!
You recognize this “We Do These Things Not Because They Are Easy But Because They Are Hard.”
Produce value and receive value in return. You should not be allowed to pollute the planet with your excrement if you don’t do more than clean up after yourself. Your presences is not automatically a gift or joy for the rest of us.
Pardon me if you don’t believe that anyone’s existence is only justified by their contribution to the general welfare.
Imagine an isolated commune, how long do you think they would tolerate an able bodied individual who refused to contribute but expected to be fed and clothed? Well, you know what? The Earth is an isolated commune, no know life anywhere else. Everyone needs to pull their weight. How do we reward the people who do their share? We reward them with Capital.
The system does have some problems. Mostly it is that opportunities to contribute to the general welfare are not equitably distributed. Without that opportunity you don’t have access to rewards. The problem is not that the rich are too rich. The problem is the poor have too little opportunity.
