So I mistakenly hit Accept to allowing the new Android March 2017 security patch onto my S6 running 6.0.1.
I understand the concept of rooting my phone (never done it before so a little weary but seems like there are some solid apps for it), but unrooting it after making the changes worries me. Would I need to reimage my whole phone to unroot? If so, would that not just reverse the changes I made per the workaround above and not resolve the issue?
Looking to confirm/deny if users can move the app to /system/app via root, unroot the phone, and then can start using this app again with Pokemon Go as an example.
Thanks in advance!
