Life on a Timer

I want to add something a little more mindset-based to this subject. In the book The Big Leap, the penultimate chapter is called Einstein Time (as opposed to ‘Newtonian Time’). I still haven’t read the whole book, but I have read this alternative time approach many times.

It boils down to:

1 — You are the source of “time.” Therefore, make time to do things.

2— Any task you avoid when you look over your to-do list or think about your day causes a sort of ‘time stress,’ which reduces the perception of “I have enough time to do ABC.”

It takes reading the chapter a couple times to grasp what the author is saying well, but it’s worth it. It’s helped me out and I feel less stressful when I approach time this way.
