You are wrong on two counts, IMHO.

Same Difference

Why is Magic Mouse 2 so different from the flaws and successes of Magic Mouse 1? There’s so much disapproval of flipping the thing over to charge it, except, Magic Mouse 1 sitting flat without batteries in it was as æsthetic as it was useless. People seemed to at least leave MM1 alone? Now, a flip on its side for a couple hours is catastrophic.

Apple obviously likes the design of this mouse. They made the second revision objectively better than the first one without changing appearance.

A speaker is a fine example; except they usually have a backside where a port can be tucked without fanfare, I suppose.

Contactless Electricity

Whether boat, car, speaker, or mouse, I’m going to stick with my argument that the real issue is lack of wireless, contact-less electricity.

I don’t want to plug in my mouse at all. I don’t even want to plug in the Bluetooth speaker.

Until I don’t have to, quick-charging, built-in batteries is a fine compromise, for me.
