First week at CUNY Codes 2016

As a Junior at Brooklyn College, I was very excited to finally have the opportunity to be exposed to a real world working enviornment in the software industry. During the first meeting, we all introduced themselves and proposed ideas that we would like to work on for the next 10 weeks. The top 4 ideas were chosen and the group was divided into 4 groups of 6 team members. I proposed a small social network that would be designed specifically for a college or university but it did not receive much interest. Although, my idea did not make the top 4, I chose to work on a TV tracker website, which easily caught my attention. My team discussed what technologies to used on the second meeting. We decided on using Postgresql for the database, Django for the backend, react with HTML and CSS for the front end and we will also be creating an Android application for mobile devices and tablets. These goals are very ambitious for a short amount of time, but I have confidence in my team and will strive to reach them.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?
