For anyone else lost in terminology…

Reactive Web Design is also known as “Progressive Decoupling” and “BigPipe”. This is not to be confused with Progressive Web App.

RWD is about loading each region separately as they become available. PWA is about loading the initial skeleton from cache and then pull the content (hybrid of app & website).
