What frustrates me about watching football on TV is the camera is so zoomed in and also oddly placed. Most of the action takes place on the defensive side of the line of scrimmage, yet when they frame the shot the line of scrimmage is usually in the center of the screen. Is there any reason that they do this? You mention the restricted angle but why is that the default angle?
