Racist, unintended racism, unconscious racism? I really don’t care what color a person’s skin is when it comes to personal interaction. I wasn’t raised to dislike people of color. But I don’t hang around with, or look for friends from, or trust very many people of color. The reason I don’t is, real life experience. I grew up in Washington DC in the 60s and 70s then went on to live all over America thanks to the military. I know from experience there are more places it’s unsafe for me to go because of the color of my skin than there are for Blacks to go in this country. And it’s citizens, that will target me for my color, not for what I have, or what they lack. The main source for violence against Blacks in this country right now is Black Culture. Not the police or other government officials and not racist Whites.
