Billie Ellish Happier Than Ever Disney Plus Review
I wasn’t going to write this up. No one wants to read someone fangasming over something. But this movie was something special.
Billie Ellish was as if the apotheosis of this movie. It was not only about her, but it was so expressive that for the majority of the movie it was telling a story by going through her entire album. Everyone of Billie Ellish’s videos are masterworks. Always changing things up making the style, tone, and everything else about them unique. This is in the tradition of Drake, Madonna, and Taylor Swift.
Much has been made over Billie Ellish’s fashion choices or the lack thereof. But I think if any artist no matter their gender did the same; there would be just as much made of the choice. Personally, I’ve seen her reaction as both brave and mature. Which is far more than I can say about most people. I think her voice is probably all anyone needs to hear to understand how amazing she is. However, I think she is still hanging on to it. At least that’s how it would appear. Which also might be just for effect.
Finally, if it wasn’t already clear. If you have Disney Plus and you like Billie Ellish this is an easy recommend.
