This is the Game Pass Days series. A column that is about playing Game Pass games in the way they were meant to be played! (Until you get sick of them and want to play something else!)

I play on PC:

Intel 8700K

64 GB RAM

2 Nvidia 1080Tis

SSD

Usually play in 4K

Empire of Sin is a Paradox-made Gangster strategy game. Where you take on the role of a Mob Boss and try to rule all of Chicago. The game is incredibly fun. Bashed in the reviews when it came out mostly for poor camera controls and the limited number of options open to you.

The camera didn’t seem too bad. Although it was far from automatic and if you were playing on console, I don’t think you would be having a fun time. As far as the limited options I didn’t get there. But I would probably play through the game. By then you will probably be able to add mods to Game Pass games and problems solved. There is definitely more fun to be had. You can choose to be other bosses and certainly, different dialogue choices might offer different results. But I think mods would really help this game’s longevity.
