My Medium writer friend Denise Kendig and I both have a passion for the tarot.

Denise has a collection of thought provoking posts about the tarot and different ways of interpreting the cards, which are worth checking out! Here is a favourite of mine.

Pretty Cool, Like “Bulletproof Monk”

We thought it would be fun to put a challenge or at least, a tag out there, inviting people to write a story or article on Medium, based on a tarot card.

• You can use any of the 78 cards of the tarot deck as inspiration.
• It can be fiction or non-fiction
• You can wrote poetry or prose
• Any length from haiku to novella!
• Any genre is fine as long as it complies with Medium rules.
