As a fourth grade teacher, I couldn’t agree with you more. Homework is a total waste of time for elementary kids. I would much prefer my kids (students) be outside riding bikes and following their natural curiosity of the world. My district has a minimum requirement of two homework assignments per subject per week. There are teachers who assign ridiculous amounts of homework. No one was ever accepted into college based on the number of worksheets they completed in elementary school. I agree. Fuck homework.
