As we head to the far East of the world to the land of the rising sun, we find Japanese Katsu Chicken in a brilliantly smothered sauce. A crispy boneless chicken awaits you with its very own sauce and a bed of rice.

With a cook time of 75 minutes, this dish mostly served in restaurants. Complemented with a creamy mayonnaise sauce, the mixture acts to add excess flavour to the dish that makes it one of the most popular dishes from the Japanese Cuisine.

Ingredients

  • 2 boneless breast flatten
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp red chili garlic sauce
  • 1 tbsp soya sauce
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper crushed
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1 egg
  • bread crumb as required

Ingredients for sauce

  • mayyaonise 4 tbsp mix with 2 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Flatten boneless breast marinate with salt, pepper, spread in flour.
  2. Dip in beaten egg.
  3. Coat well in bread crumbs press it very well with the palm of your hand, so it became thin and big.
  4. Deep fry in a fry pan till crisp and golden on medium flam on 12–15 min.
  5. Remove cut into strips drizzle with sauce serve as an Appetizer.
