No, Homeschoolers Aren’t “Properly Socialized.”
Zak Slayback

I was homeschooled from grade 2–6… and I was such a little poopmeister. No, seriously. My homeschooling was very insular, faith-based, useless.

In Grade 6, I switched to online schooling. Between reading a lot of books and surfing, I became exposed to all sorts of different viewpoints. It took a number of years to get the programming out of my system, but I finally became a decent person.

Homeschooling is great if the kid reads a lot. It turns into a tool of oppression otherwise.

In 2013, I graduated from online schooling.

Homeschooling sucks. Online-based schooling rocks.
