The End

Wandering Soul
Jul 28, 2017 · 1 min read

She left me in lurch
While we munched at The perch
I reached out a million times
She didn’t show up every single time
She pushed herself away
Many a squabble, many an affray
Why turn a new leaf!
Why now is she giving me grief!
Unaware of her new obsession
Why am I again the object of her narration!
Those long poems, those tough rhymes
Like the soothing sound of the wind chimes
Where did she learn all this from, I mumble
Thinking of this I often stumble

Many a times
I read those painful lines
Now in continuous succession
Why am I her new obsession
Is this the portrayal of her love
Or awakening of her soul above
Or another of her many games
I have been burnt enough in her flames

My decision is made
Even though the love stays, leaving my heart abrade
Her poems, the emotions cut me like a blade
Stop this raid
My decision is made
