The group, consisting of Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun, and Huening Kai, recently held a highly successful showcase in Tokyo and is now preparing for a series of performances across Japan. TXT’s new album “CHIKAI” has set new records for the group. On its first day of release, the single sold 309,822 copies, immediately topping the Japanese Oricon “Daily Single Ranking” on July 2nd. This achievement marks the highest first-day sales for a Japanese single by TXT. The following day, the single continued to dominate the charts, selling over 20,000 copies and maintaining its top position on the “Daily Single Ranking.”

In the ‘Daily Digital Single Ranking’ dated July 3rd, the title track “We’ll Never Change” ranked 4th, with the b-side tracks “Kitto Zutto” and “Deja Vu [Japanese Ver.]” securing the 7th and 8th positions, respectively. All the songs on the new album entered the ‘Top 10,’ showcasing TXT’s widespread appeal.

Streaming Success and Chart Domination

The success of “We’ll Never Change” extends beyond physical sales. The song was streamed 395,755 times on Spotify on July 3rd, more than doubling the first-day streams of TXT’s previous Japanese release, “Ring” (193,640 times). This significant increase in streams highlights TXT’s growing influence in the Japanese market.

The music video for “We’ll Never Change” also performed exceptionally well, ranking #1 on Line Music’s real-time music video chart at 2 AM on the day of its release. On the Line Music Daily Music Video Chart for the week of July 3rd, it ranked 2nd, the highest among K-pop artists on the list. Additionally, the video entered the Japanese YouTube “Top Rising Music” chart at 30th place around 1:50 PM on July 3rd, and steadily climbed to 11th place by 2 PM on July 4th.

Gearing Up for the Japanese Dome Tour

Following the success of their showcase and album release, TXT is now preparing for their first Japanese dome tour, “TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR <ACT: PROMISE> IN JAPAN,” which is part of their third world tour. The tour will kick off at Tokyo Dome on July 10th and 11th, followed by performances at Kyocera Dome Osaka on July 27th and 28th, Vantelin Dome Nagoya on August 4th and 5th, and Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka on September 14th and 15th.

The showcase host noted that this tour marks the shortest time for a K-pop artist to embark on a Japanese dome tour post-debut. TXT expressed their gratitude to MOA for their unwavering support, promising to deliver spectacular performances that exceed expectations.
