(My conversation with the Mountain)

Me :

Sun has greeted all and path is set

The Mountain is calling and I must go

Looking for a treasure

Excited and nervous, I took the first step

Mountain :

New faces stop by everyday

But I say the same thing to all

“May you conquer yourself ,

May your conviction win the end”

Me :

Peak after peak, I kept climbing

It’s always taller than it looked

“Oh Magnificent Mountain, I have fallen for your company

I would love to admire you longer, but I have places to go” — I said at the top.

At Heart Shaped Lake, on the top of Chembra Peak, Kerala, India

Mountain :

“Dear traveler, The beauty lies in your eyes decorated with the dust

The beauty lies in your courage that pumps inside you

I wish strength and will for you

For the highest summit

Me :

Wandering across, I lost myself into you

I found my answers in my heart

The immovable moved me

And, I returned as someone else
