On a side note, if your daughter doesn’t like Python have you tried her with a different language? I don’t find Python or Ruby intuitive, but PHP, Basic, or Ada (I feel old) have been the core of my IT career for years.
Something like RPGmaker would let her create and play with visual assets, but she’d then have to program the movement and interaction routines, so she can blend creativity and coding.
