Super PDF plugin. How to import or read (view) PDFs into Figma and FigJam for free.
Figma doesn’t support importing PDF files to the canvas, at least for now, but it’s possible to insert PDFs into Figma using a plugin. I work with Figma and PDF files a lot, and I want to have a bunch of PDFs inside Figma while designing, brainstorming and doing competitive analysis. There are a few plugins already, but I wasn’t happy with them, so I created my own. Say hi to Super PDF plugin for Figma and FigJam.

The idea is simple. You run the plugin; you drop your PDF, tweak settings (if you want) and the PDF imports to Figma and FigJam super fast. That’s one of the enormous benefits of the plugin. It works extremely fast and offers super high-quality imports. You can even import two PDF files together. If you choose to enable the Auto Import feature in Settings, then your workflow is even faster.
There is more to it. The plugin comes with neat default features. Every PDF file imports inside a section so your canvas is nice and tight. If you import PDFs in FigJam, you can choose to insert the PDF inside a section and automatically add a Sticky Note to it. You can type anything and mention anyone with a click.
