Walk through the fire

Yes, I am talking to you, you who has a dream. Do you ever fear that you are not doing enough, or you have failed a lot? Good, you are human. You know it’s okay to fail. But, never ever think that your dream is too big. Smile through the pain.

Jim Carrey said “But all that will ever be is what’s happening here. And the decisions we make in this moment, based in either love or fear. So many of us, choose our path out of fear disguised as practicality. What we really want seems impossibly out of reach, and ridiculous to expect, so we never dare to ask the universe for it. I’m saying that I am the proof, that you can ask the universe for it.

Its illusory that we always want to be productive, we want to excel everyday, we are angered by trivial things, but on longer pursuits like wasting a lifetime, we don’t seem to care. How will YOU serve the world? What do they need, that your talent can provide. The impact you have on others is just what matters. The world needs hope, a hope that you can provide. Figure that out. Take as much time, but know that, your dream whispers to you. You won’t wake up one day, and find your purpose standing in front of you. It’s always been there, whispering to you, you just didn’t hear it amidst all the self doubt shouting through the dark corridors in your mind.

What happens when you find it? Do you succeed? No, it hasn’t even begun. But don’t worry, go out there and fail. Trust yourself, trust your instincts and go out there and fail again. Be proud, atleast you are failing at what you love. See, failure is the default option, success is a choice. If you don’t live for what you stand for, you are gonna fail anyway. That’s life. That’s the circus you live in. So might as well take the fight.

And what happens when you are convinced about the battle, but it seems too hard. Don’t give up. Embrace the sacrifices. Embrace uncertainty, sorrow, pain, whatever it takes.

Become a lobster. You know what lobsters do? They live in a rigid shell, a shell that doesn’t expand much. How can the lobster grow? It starts feeling under pressure and uncomfortable. Eventually, it goes under a rock formation, casts off the shell and produces a new one. But, then in a few years, the new shell becomes confining too. Then what? Again back under the rocks. Numerous times in a lifetime. But, what if the lobster had a doctor, that gave it a pill everytime it felt uncomfortable? The lobster would never grow.

Never fear adversities, always feel glad that you are not where you want to be. It just means you have hope, and you are ready to fail, and that’s enough. Fail and fight everyday. It’s how well you walk through the fire. Just don’t fail at life.
