New York Fashion Week is here, and while the front rows and the streets surrounding them are the best places to catch top notch street style, the light bites, lunches, and dinners in between are likely where you’ll catch the best dressed at some of the city’s best restaurants.

Here, we rounded up some of our favorite restaurants — all a hop, skip, and jump away from the most popular venues — because, contrary to popular belief, fashion girls eat too!

Bagatelle

Bagatelle, which is celebrating its 10th Anniversary this year, will serve up a #FashionablyLate dinner price-fix menu during New York Fashion Week from 9/6–9/12 from 9pm — 11pm.

The $45 3-course menu created by new Executive Chef Andrew Riccatelli, starts with a first course in the form of a glass of bubbly followed by a choice of appetizer and entrée with the option to add in dessert for an additional $10.

The Mark Fashion Week Fuel Box

New York’s Mark Hotel, known for its unparalleled service, above and beyond list of amenities, and exquisite design, is introducing an unexpected twist to the meaning of “Lunch on the Go” during Fashion Week.

The Mark Fashion Week Fuel Box, prepared by The Mark’s Michelin-star Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, will be available at The Mark Bar for Fashion Week daily from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM for $25.

Fashionistas will be able to refuel with the ultimate “On the Go” healthy meal, that includes a vegetarian sandwich, fresh fruits and sparkling water.

Legasea

Legasea Seafood Brasserie offers top-tier seafood dishes by Executive Chef Jason Hall in that include customer-favorites such as, Spicy Crab Beignets, Flounder Francaise, and their newest Seafood Marinara Pasta and Summer Berry Eton Mess. The venue is located steps away from Madison Square Garden and down the street from the bustle of Times Square, making it the convenient stop after a Broadway matinee, and before or after a fun runway show.

The McKittrick Hotel

Home of immersive theater spectacle Sleep No More, fashion & nightlife icon Susanne Bartsch’s weekly XXX burlesque cabaret Bartschland Follies, and rooftop garden bar Gallow Green — is an established favorite of the fashion elite. Fashionable fans include Anna Wintour, Heidi Klum, Zac Posen, Marc Jacobs, Madonna, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Lawrence, Neil Patrick Harris and Evan Rachel Wood, to name but a few…

Ocean Prime

Ocean Prime New York, the Modern American restaurant and lounge in Midtown Manhattan by renowned restaurateur, Cameron Mitchell, is the best place to be seen before or after any runway show.

We recommend the “Smoking” Shellfish Tower, which is sure to wow you, and you can customize based on seafood preferences and yes, it does truly smoke!

Ocean Prime invites guests to enjoy NYFW on their newly opened patio — one of the few in midtown.

Bodega Negra at Dream Downtown

Launched this week, the Mexican hotspot favored by A-listers Priyanka Chopra, La La Anthony, Miguel among others, now offers the following booze + bites for Manhattanites to enjoy, starting at $4–7 days a week…just in time for Fashion Week!

  • BOOZE: Tectate ($4) | Red Sangria ($6) | Margarita ($8) | El Diablo ($8)
  • BITES: Chicken Tostadas ($5) | Quesadilla Rustica ($6) | Street Corn Nachos ($8) | Guacamole ($8) | Queso Fundido ($8)

Sen Sakana

Celebrate fashion week at Sen Sakana, New York City’s first modern Nikkei restaurant. With Japanese and Peruvian influences, models and regular girls and boys will enjoy the restaurant’s extensive list of appetizers, entrées, and sushi selections.
