Wells Fargo Celebrates Official Black Wall Street App Creator, Mandy Bowman as a ‘Community Builder’
Throughout February, Wells Fargo has visited local communities to highlight ‘Community Builders’ — the African American small business owners who go above and beyond to positively impact not only the lives of their customers, but the lives of everyone in their community.
Last Wednesday, Wells Fargo hosted an event celebrating Mandy Bowman, owner of the official Black Wall Street app (the largest directory of its kind in the world). The event was held at the black-owned establishment, Solomon & Kuff in NYC and featured special guest host, entrepreneur and celebrity chef Roblé Ali.
Guests sampled products from boutique skin-care company Seul Luxe. A number of black-owned businesses were featured throughout the event to continue the theme of supporting black-owned businesses. Other companies represented included Make My Cake bakery, jewelry company Rocks by Sekou, shoe company Ron Donovan and community-based social enterprise company SoHarlem.
