Yes there is a strong element of “Humans as second class citizens” in blockchain use cases. I believe early stage transformative technologies hype always contain magical elements that reduce human involvement. However I would caution against the hype, because such systems invariably attract the attention of those who will game “the system”. We at our most basic level fights systems because they are not personal. For example imagine two insurance entities, one is a DAO and the other is a platform that are explicitly built around groups with group membership the source of loyalty. We can predict based on a large volume of research and gut instinct that loses from fraud will be lower in group insured platform. Both entities can be built using Blockchain technology.
Don’t be stupid put humans first!
