I am just curious. By telling everyone that Javascript has flaws, by using words like “psychosis”, “plague”, or “inferior”, what would a web developer use?

Based on your article, you would prefer Amber Smalltalk. I know a bit of Smalltalk and its elegance when used in OOP, But Amber is just another “Babel-like” transpiler that transpiles it to Javascript. Then wouldn’t that be still using Javascript?

And you would say, “yes, because it is a necessary evil”. Then, would it be possible to teach how to use Javascript and avoiding those evil parts? Much like teaching how to always dealloc when you malloc a pointer to prevent memory misuse.

Then in a sense, wouldn’t it be just the same as teaching best practices for project management regardless of size?
