I have to agree with the people saying she is confusing school with a babysitter or daycare. Most school districts have to deal with the logistics of getting three groups of kids to school and since you cant really hire three times as many bus drivers, and buses the start and end times for those groups have to be staggered. Throw in after school activites like sports and other issues would come into play. Would kids be practicing until 6–7 at night?

One thing this does illustrate is teachers have a pretty great job in terms of hours and vacation days.
