A few years ago Bob Proctor taught me a technique that I’ve been using for awhile now. I’ll admit that some years are better than others so I figured if I share it with you here now, I’ll do it myself this year.
That is the thing with change, with transformation — you have to do the work. I was actually just saying this to my husband. A year ago I started a cardio regime.. BUTI where Bizzie Gold kicked it. I intended to use the workout 5 days a week and for the most part was lucky to get in 3 (that’s the thing with intentions — you have to Yoda it out, “Do or not do”. You can intend all you want but if you don’t work it well…)
Three days ago I started doing Jillian Micheal’s Shred, Level 1. She offers three levels of workout and within 30 days promises to shred you. I just finished it actually which made me think of my cardio-versary. And here I thought Bizzie was killer — Jillian’s just as intense my calves are pretty angry with me. We’ll see if I stick with it for the full 30 days or if I can still walk after day 5. Bottom line is no one can do your pushups for you.
I digress…. back to my buddy Bob and his scripting technique for creating your best year yet.

Begin by sitting (alone or with your partner) and think of all of the things that could potentially happen to make it 2014 the very best year. Then going old school grab a pen and paper to write them down.
No not typing, writing… you won’t be showing anyone so no worries on the messy penmanship it’s for your eyes only!
You can get really specific with this and write down what attaining each item may feel like (what sounds are around you when it happens, can you touch it, what does it smell like etc.,) In this fashion you are using an NLP technique to create a 3D image in your mind to help you make it real.
You can get results even by writing a short list without the detail but if it works why not get as specific as possible?
This stuff really works, it’s not an out there concept that doesn’t bear fruit.
Take the time today or this week and write down what needs to happen for 2014 to be all you want it to be.
Then put the list away. You can bring it back out next year at this time and see your results.
You never know right? Just be careful what you ask for as you just might get it!
