I was caught by surprise at something one of my friends said to me about being caught up in the smaller things of life or letting the smaller things of life get to me!

“ I just always remind myself the universe is a massive place and that I can have some tiny effect on some very narrow parts, but that most of it is beyond my comprehension. I’f I’m lucky, people will remember me in 200 years, but its far more likely that I’ll be gone and forgotten before then. SO THEN! If nothing I can build or accomplish is of any permanent importance, I should just do what I want and be happy! Respect social norms, try to make people around me happy, but just live my very finite time in the funnest way possible, and don’t get worked up over all the extremely irrelevant details and annoyances of this existence
