I think it’s great that way you plan to implement and create a classroom that is multi-culturally aware is by having students talk about the pressing issues that we still face today. I feel as though this component, along with having students share about their culture and interests with their classmates will make the students not only respect each other, but they’ll also learn to respect their community and those around them.
