Quarterly Update: Warrp, ToastPunk & Racer Club Labs
The second quarter of 2022 is at an end and I’m writing this to update all current and future stakeholders of the related Web 3 projects of Warrp which includes ToastPunk and Racer Club Labs.
- ToastPunk OG DAO
The DAO started in May 2022 as a community decision to condense a bolder roadmap vision into bite size equivalents for OG holders using the treasury (funds available) to the DAO. The utility for this is therefore open to the DAO members to make proposals through a 30% quorum and 51% majority rules vote on them. All members of the DAO that have signed up using the official Upstream Collective app plays a role in the DAO. The purpose of the DAO is to evolve the ToastPunk project and manage the treasury of all ToastPunk projects which includes 100% of the balance* of minting revenue of OG NFTs (0.19 ETH x 394= 74.86 ETH) and 100% of all royalities of secondary sales for ToastPunk NFTs in all 4 Collections being:
- Collection 1 (Royalties: 5%): ToastPunk OG (Max Supply: 1,000)*
- Collection 2 (Royalties: 5%): ToastPunk Genesis (Max Supply: 10,000)
- Collection 3 (Royalties: 7.5%): ToastPunk Upgradeable (Max Supply: 1,000)**
- Collection 4 (Royalties: 7.5%): ToastPunk Humanoid (Max Supply: 1,000)**
*At time of writing, 606 OG NFTs have been minted with a balance of 394 available to be minted.
**Collection 3 & 4 (a Collection 1 & 2 holders only drop) that was scheduled to be out in Quarter 2 is postponed to Quarter 3 due to market conditions and organisational restructure.
The DAO will also be the party that will be receiving 15% of the game economy of the ToastPunk Genesis Racer Club game.
Many of the utilities in the original roadmap of ToastPunk is now up to the decision of the DAO based on the available treasury funds. It is up to the members of the DAO to innovate ways to increase funding through investments, donations and other forms of project growth methods. It will also be up to the members of the DAO on the level of support to be provided to the rest of the community which previously was looked after by Warrp, i.e. student scholarships, giveaways, financial aid, etc.
Warrp will always be a supportive arm in terms of tech development, whitelist access, alpha influence, funding and more.
2. ToastPunk Genesis & $TPGEN
As it stands, the utility benefits of holding a ToastPunk Genesis is still the same albeit the time in which for this to occur is slightly delayed once again due to market conditions and organisational revamping. Quarter 3 will be time in which this will definetely be rolled out. The main benefits of holding a ToastPunk Genesis are:
- Early Access to Racer Club (1 month before others)
- Upgradeable trait NFTs get Collection 3 airdrop for free
- Access to the ToastPunk Stacks Game (rewards)
The $TPGEN ERC-20 vault token is still available via Sushiswap and by swapping staked ToastPunk Genesis NFTs in the NFTX.io vault. The main utility of $TPGEN will be for use in the ToastPunk Genesis Racer Club game for pack purchases and for in-game rewards. A more robust token staking dashboard will be provided in-game for ToastPunk Genesis Racer Club players.
3. Racer Club Labs
Warrp has embarked on a substantially large Web 3 project to give back to the space through a metaverse racing game that will add instant utility to 2,500 NFT projects on the Ethereum chain.
Over 15 VCs and Angels are included in the initial seed equity round ($3M USD upfront with a commitment of $45-50M in the token round) which is nearing a close and will be announced publically once all parties are fully signed up. This journey will see 3 main phases as seen in the Racer Club Whitepaper:
Phase 1: Early Access for ToastPunk Genesis holders where players will be able to participate and build their game economy 30 days before other communities.
Phase 2: Game Pack NFT drop for 2,500 NFT communities with the first 800 being assisted through the Title Series Incubation Program ($6–8M) to see them start their individual economies in as short as 2–4 weeks from after minting. All 2,500 Game Pack NFTs can also instantly start their staking phase as soon as the Game Pack NFTs are fully minted.
Phase 3: Racer Club DAO, Asset Creators Marketplace, Crossover Metaverse and $RCLUB Token Generation Event. Unlike most other Metaverses and P2Es, the Racer Club project will build its communities and players first then only launch a token and its associated utilities to give it a permanent stronghold now and into the future.
