In the mindset chapter of my book, How to Quit Unwanted Habits Permanently. I wrote about how I turned on my TV one day and watched a program where the host said and I quote: "The best thing to do with habits is to just never go into them, because once you do, you are doomed and irredeemable." And how those words prevented me from doing the right things to stop.
"Tobi you can never quit, the best thing was to never have gone into this habit. And now you are doomed and irredeemable!" were statements I constantly told myself…

As a young boy, I got into Pornography and could watch porn numerous times a day. A picture or video of ladies showing more-than-normal cleavages here and there and I am on fire — looking for the next route to a porn site. I wanted to stop. I really wanted to. But everyone who is addicted to one habit or the other knows that wanting to stop is the last thing you are reminded about when your urge comes knocking. You only get the “Oh God I just did it again, why am I like this!” …

I got more friends in 2019 than ever before and you will know why by the time you are done with this article.

Exactly a week ago from the date I am writing this, I was travelling by bus and while we going, our bus had some issues and we had to stop a little. During this stop, for some reason I began interacting with the lady seated by my left. I asked her what she did and she told me she was a health science lecturer in a private university. I told her what I did as well and…

This is probably my biggest lesson of the year and I will be taking more risk in the new decade because of this lesson.

The lesson basically is that 1. Everything is Figureoutable; 2. Believe that you can and will figure things out. 3. Run with the fact that you can/will figure things out eventually.

When I had the idea for Picsible, there was a certain feature I was to code that I was scared I couldn’t code. This feature was more like the entire Picsible itself as it was super important. I procrastinated starting Picsible because of this fear…

Earlier this year, August to be precise, I wrote an answer on Quora on what my biggest fear was. This answer did quite well and got around 40,000 views and now has close to 300 Upvotes. I am a big goal chaser. Once I want something, I chase it with all my might. I chase it with everything I have got but then as I began to live (for real) and chase my life goals. I noticed I didn’t always get the things I want. I noticed things didn’t always go as planned.

Around May this year, I wanted to…

I am looking back at my 2019 this week and just like every other year — since 2017, I always like to look at my most valuable lessons for the year.

In 2017, the primary lesson that I learnt was TO NOT JUDGE. I saw people judge and criticize a person and then later find them doing what they just criticized. The core idea was that nobody “really” knows what they would do unless they find (or have found) themselves in the same situation as the other person.

You find a girl “simply” say a man tried to rape her…

  • You can now send frames as gifts. With new experiences built around this. You can add a gift wrap, a personal note and multiple addresses.
  • Our system now remembers the things you frame all along and even if you forget to complete framing something, you can always come back to complete it later.
  • We are also building support for foreign currencies so your relatives in foreign countries will soon be able to send a frame to you in Nigeria and pay for it in their currency.

Last year August, August 18 to be precise. My mum told me she did some random renovations in our house in Lagos and said she framed some of our (I and my siblings) photos. My matriculation photos and a couple of others. I was interested in seeing them so I asked her to make a video and send it to me. Few days later, my sister sent them to me via Whatsapp.

As soon as I saw the video, I immediately liked the frames, and then remembered very quickly that my mum has always talked about us having a new…
