Loved the first article, think you are spot on and can see a lot of people in the paradigm of personal ownership in the comments. Made me chuckle, I was in china recently where the 30 yo are the first, and quite possibly the last to own cars. There is no culture of the car or ownership, just looking to access transport (massive growth in shared bike schemes), and avoid all the hassle that comes with ownership. One reason why I reckon the Chinese will legislate for and own this technology, as consumers get the upside (much lower cost, no hassle, no depreciating asset, better journey times, more time to do something else more useful……).
